Guitar Hero, would you/have you customise/d your guitar?

I only bought this yesterday, but I'm seriously considering customising the guitar.

I'm not sure why I'm thinking this though.

But one design I would like to go with is PO Blue with RivaOni near the whammy bar and some PO stars on the fret board.

Then near the top of the body where the strop attaches having "ROCK THE CHIBI".

But to do this I'd need transfers of all those things, plus some near baby blue spray paint, oh and some white spray paint for the neck.

If I got the cash (and guts) together and got the transfers I may give this a serious go. I think it'd look fantastic, I'd just need some practice with a spray can again first as I havent used one since I was 16 for an art project!

If you were to customise yours, what would you do? or if you have already, what would it look like?

I did a "test" on a used one I bought. It has the less distance fret buttons, which increases reaction time and the wireless mod just cuz it's flipping cool. As far as paint goes:

I used Krylon FUSION paints as it bonds to plastic better, although not a lot of color options. Then a clearcoat of Krylon Prisma Magic or something like that that gives the blue a flake effect. It shows up better on darker paints than lighter ones.

I recommend NOT painting the fret buttons unless you mask the sides so it slides the button holes smoothly. Not cool if it sticks in the middle of a solo.

My NEXT project (after GH2 hits) will be to paint my geetar that came with GH a gunmetal gray metallic flake with black racing stripes on it. If this sounds nuts well then you probably don't understand why. Say hello to Eleanor. Thats the paint job I'm going for.

Now I just need to get BETTER at hard and expert mode.

I do love that car.

Here's a really rough tihng I knocke dup on Photoshop with my idea, although I want different stars to those.

Well, my local Gamestop has a poster for a Flying V guitar. It's red, but I think it would be great to customize. I might give it a go.

Although I think Harmonix are deveoping a officiasl Flying V for GH2

its an internal mod that I found online. The Flying V is wireless tho.

I thought of the greatest guitar mod. The GUNTAR HERO! It would be a customized guitar with a light gun at the end of the neck that you could also use for shooters. Not practical, but cool.

Anyway, I've been thinking about color schemes all day. I might do camoflauge. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a Flying V for my second controller, but I think I'll wait to see if Harmonix puts one out rather than buy a third party guitar.

OOOH! It just came to me. I'll do my Flying V the same color as in Black Heaven!!
