Wow! An Eragon movie. That's kind of exciting. He hasn't even finished the third book yet, I don't think >.>

I gotta say, that trailer makes the movie out to be a lot better than I thought it would turn out. While I havnt picked up Eldest yet, Eragon was a good book. The visual elements of the movie really appeal to me, but I would have liked sapphira ot be a little more saphire, I dont like John Malchovich cast as the BBEBG, and Eragon is going to have to try really hard to win my affection. I mean seriously, was that decent kid from "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" not availible?

Still, the visuals look good. The magic looks very edgy, not hokey and retarded like magic often gets billed as. The costumes are slightly punk, less "blah medevil". I just hope that Sapp doesnt get cheated out of a her rightful place as a character...the trailer didnt have one bit of sapphira dialogue Sad

The books are great.
I guess they will mess up the movie like with all good books.
But it does look good in the trailer.

Yeah, isn't Sapphira always described as being brilliantly sapphire blue? In that trailer she's all dark-colored.... Sad

i really want to see this film but no doubt wi'll have to wait for it on dvd as rachy is a little youg to take to see it
