Ok...I get that they're smart and can solve those things way faster than I could ever imagine...but was it neccesary for that last arrogant bastard to do it one-handed? Was it neccesary to prove that not only is he smarter than I am, but that he had better dexterity? Seriously...if I ever meet that kid, I'm going to throw a Rubik's Cube at his head. |

Thats amazing. I hate puzzles because I suck at them. But I'm with Ming, I wonder how fast they can solve a rubix cube if its flying at their face at 50 mph!
On a less violent note. Are those tournament legal rubix cubes or something, I remember when I was younger messing with rubix cubes, they were always so stiff and hard to turn. |

I've always thought myself fairly intelligent, but if Rubiks cubes are a measure of that, then I am probably Hydrocephalic. |

There's a set pattern that you can follow to get specific squares to the destination you need them to be. Buy a rubik's cube and you, too, can learn these secrets!
I'm sure it's very difficult to memorize each pattern and use them so quickly, but it seems that when you boil it down, these kids are efficient calculators that can count all the way up to 9. |

this is true, it is just a mathimatical solution but to do it that fast...and it's all random because the panels never set up the same way. Sure there is a finite number of possibilities but it's still more than I would like to memorize. |
