OK guys, heres the deal.
As many of you know, Code*Atom is in the FINALS in battle of the bands at Sweetwater.
The show is the night of Oct 20th, which happens to be the day before Dooter's wedding. So we're going to have some extra people coming to this show who are in town for the wedding.
I really think they deserve to win, so who's up for it.
Let's get as many people together at this show and bring Code*Atom home to victory.
Many of the girls associated with the wedding will be out. But I hope you ladies will try to stop in and throw a vote in the box!
We'll be figuring out some sort of caravan to get down there.
If you've ever wanted to make it to a Code*Atom show, this is the one it NEEDS to be!

Well, I'll come to vote, but then leave. As much as I love C*A, live concerts are just too loud for me. And the smoke doesn't help either, as I've never been able to stand the smell of cigarettes. <3 |

Smoking is only allowed outside, and we can always get you some ear plugs. I know Rollergirl said she was going to bring some next time she went. |

Actually, I've started doing this at any concert I go to, and it really does work wonders. You actually hear the music better because all the audience noise as well as all the sharp, unpleasant tones are cut out. It doesn't really restrict your hearing, just filters out all the bad stuff. If worse comes to worse, and you can't hear, you just take the earplugs out, and you wasted a couple of bucks on them.
But the BEST reason for wearing earplugs at a concert...your ears don't ring for the next 2 days after. And THAT makes it WELL worth it....at least in my book. |
