Just a quick notice

This is the last month of the semester for me in school, and then I get all of December off before classes start again first week of January.

What, precisely, does this mean?

Well, as all teachers seem to be convinced of the facts that A) their class is the only one that should matter and B) It's a great idea to assign all your projects for the end of the semester, even though you could have just as easily assigned them and had your students complete them even as early as the middle of the semester, which would have meant less of a grading rush for you!

...I have a lot of stuff to do.

I may, and probably will be, scarce. If I'm -not-, you should be kicking my butt, because Gaea knows I don't need to start failing now. I'm just starting to get my grades up.

However, in December I will be back FULL FORCE and expect a SHITETON of writing from me, as I have several projects planned, not the least of which is my own personal version of NaNoWriMo.

But that's for then. For now, wish me luck and say goodbye to Shan being online constantly.

...and yes, this does apply to PSU as well.

Hee, at least I have one teacher for all 4 or sometimes 5 of my classes. So technically his class is the only one that matters. But my teacher is interesting, he beleives in understanding the principals behind things how they work etc rather than memorizing things. Sure theres a few numbers here and there to memorize like 14.7psi is normal air pressure at sea level and such, but it's all just an understanding of how things work and how they work with everything else.

No worries... I've been nagging her about school all semester. And I'm not about to stop now when she's doing so well and looking to get 3.0 or better!

Oh, no, I didn't touch NaNo. It's during the month of November, which is literally the -worst- month for them to do it as far as I'm concerned. As mentioned, it's the busiest month of the year for those of us who are, y'know, in school.

Eh. I have less of the teachers thinking they're the only class- they do seem to realize you have other classes-- but they still think theirs is the only one you should worry about.

My french teacher is exempt from this, despite giving a ton of homework. I told her I hadn't studied for my french test because I had a paper worth 40% of my grade, and she seemed to agree that the paper was more important.

..besides, like I need to -study- for French 1001.

*dodges Shino* ...I actually forgot about the test, I swear. But I did awesome anyhow.

I'm with you on this one, Legend. November is the time when all the big projects come due. It's a nightmare. Good luck on getting it all done on time.

Sounds like a plan. Just don't overdo it. An occasional appearance in Miniopia will keep you sane...sort of. There's always the soapbox to rant away in so you can blow off some steam. Nod
