What the hell? I'm confused.. And I dun think these guys can be too reliable sources.. I mean, sources related to 'em also said Microsoft was buying this company, Sega was being bought by this company, etc. etc. just to get stocks moving... |

This can't be true. Cause the president of Sony said they didn't want another console system.
He stated in MANY interviews he no longer wanted games to be purchased in stores he wanted the Playstation to have a monthly fee and you get to play ANY game in the Sony library over a cable modem.
Granted if it is true I'm glad that they decided to stay console since I have NO cable modem YET! Oh well, If it does come out for X-mas this year I'm sure you all know who will have that bad boy. |

Well, it isn't THAT bad of an IDea what with games having Multi-player over cable anyway but it'd be better if they did what Super Famicom did and let you DL your games to a card (In case you wanna play the game offline) for $10 and when you finish you can overwrite the card with yer next game.
The only problem I see is WHO determines when a game should no longer be available? Take GTA3 for instance...Yes GTA 3 VC is a kick ass game that is all coolies n'junk but sometimes I feel like goin back ta the mean streets of liberty city and kickin Yakuza booty. So at what point would I lose my GTA3?
The other problem is in fact the cable modem...Since yer cable goodness is only as dependable as the company handling it what if Cox goes Enron and yer jigger ends? |
