Looks like some 3rd parties have some interesting stuff to bring to the Wii.
One of them being a NES skin for the Wii that runs $15.
The other being a WIRELESS sensor bar... which runs $25.

DISCLAIMER: OK, we're officially done here at 1UP News with any Wii-related puns, whatsoever. No more Wii-speriments, Wii-crets, nothing -- we're going cold turkey because the jokes are stale.
Now that the housecleaning is out of the way, didn't this console just come out a couple of weeks ago? Already, intrepid entrepreneurs are creating third party peripherals and aesthetic flourishes for users to customize the latest Nintendo console.
Ripping a page straight from Nintendo's book (hey, NES inspired DS!), over at DecalGirl they've created a skin for the Wii that covers the system in an NES coat. How much for this retro slip cover? Just $15. (See the above image)
In case the teeny wires connecting the sensor bar to the Wii are totally cramping your living room's style, the folks at Wireless Sensor Bar have conjured up a $25 solution with their, aptly named "Wireless Sensor Bar." For just 10% of the cost of a Wii, you can have that sensor bar be wireless.
Too expensive? Maybe. Tycho from Penny Arcade thought so, too. |
