Has anyone picked this up today? It released today, and I was wondering if anyone has it. If so, please post how it works, ESPECIALLY the voice chat part. I think it will be confusing as hell, to hear 4 ppl talking at the same time while playing.

I havent played online yet to truely let you know, just offline briefly tonight but im tired now so im going to bed. I hope to get some online play sometime this weekend, Ill let you know by Sunday night/monday sometime ..but im ordering teh keyboard adapter for xbox so Ill be going to that as soon as I get it

Cool Sciler hope to see you online.Ok i have been playing for the last 2 days on XBox.First of all,graphically there is not much difference between the GC and XBox..it's just a little "crisper" on X and they changed a few minor things,like the swirling of telepipes,it's like it was on DC.The gameplay of course is exactly the same but the big improvement is the voice chat.It works great inside games with people you know.The voice masking though sucks.I made a chibi FOnewearl and i tried the small girl/kid voice,you know to kind of stay in character,but people inside the game said it was very hard to understand,so it's best to not use any voice masking,which is to bad.

You also don't need a keyboard to do the loby animations,you just hit the R trigger and press Y and a list of animations come up.Also since everyone is on Broadband,when someone joins a game,it takes like 1 second to load..heck if you're busy fighting,you might not even notice someone joined.There's a downloadable quest already,Central fire Dome.If you have any other questions Spliff,feel free to ask. The Adapter cost is only the shipping,which comes to about 5 bucks,so i ordered mine since i already have 2 USB keyboards waiting.

Ok, can you use the adapter AND the mic at the same time? Do you think you could have a 2nd controller in port 2 with the kb in that one, with the headset in controller one? Or how does the adapter work?

Yes you can use both at the same time..the adapter goes in the controller not in the ports on the XBox.

Thanks alot............now I have to buy it, jeez I dont even have broadband, but I feel compelled by the wizards at M$ to purchase this game to round out my PSO collection....Guess I'll trade in one of my GameCubes and one of my copies of PSO for 'Cube.

DONT buy it...you need XBox live just to play it offline....you don't need to pay for a HL to play offline but you need to have a XBox Live account...

One more thing,looking at that picture i posted,i'm not even sure anymore if you can chat and type at the same time...i think it goes into the same input on the controller that the Mic goes into,so you have to unplug the Mic.....i'll have to check this out..i haven't received my adapter yet.
