Metroid Prime - Time to get Prime

I know that the game has been out for a while, but i just picked it up, along with my very own gamecube (finally).

Im already around half way through the game, ive gotten myself up to 100 missles already, the wave beam, wave buster, super missles, charge shot, morphball: with the norm bombs, and spider upgrade. Ive gotten teh varia suit and the gravity suit. Currently, ive gotten one of the chozo artifacts.

Once again, i know that this is of late, since the game has been out for a while already...but just wanted to hear everyone elses reviews on it...cause so far...the game rulez...a lot

The game is awesome !! And honestly, you still have a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go since you have to go back and forth so much. The game is great from top to bottom. I think the only thing that I would add to it is a strafe without holding the lock button. And an easier last boss !! Im still stuck in him !!! EEK !! I know I havent played for a couple of months, but man, he is hard !! Anyway, enjoy the game 'cuz its awesome. And remember... KEEP SCANNING EVERYTHING !!!!!!

well, i know that im not gonna get 100% scan logs in, and i know that im not gonna complete 100% of the game, but i know where most of the stuff is, and i think that after i beat this mode, im gonna go through the whole game again and get every possible things...down to the pennies and the heads of space pirates that i find on the floor (jet force gemini foo!!!)

besides that, all i have to say is that in all metroid games, the one thing that i dont like about it, but you cant live without, is the exesive backtracking...its sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo redonculous (made up word )

That's sorta why I stopped playing...I just got the plasma cannon and the lil' map thingy told me I hadta bo back to the mining complex...I cried. I HATE that place it's so fuggin big with no Save points in sight.

So I picked up Zelda and played it...Now I gotta get the triforces which is a long an arduous task in and of itself. Then kill gannon.

Only problem is that I now have Shadow Bane....And like Everquest left a sour bitter taste in my mouth but this game is like rox0r.

Oh wait Metroid Prime thread. Yeah, the game has WAY too much backtracking...They REALLY shoulda have made jump points or something to that effect.

Lotsa backtracking, but I suppose that's what makes it a Metroid game, heh heh... <^^;>

Atleast in Zelda you've got a nifty lil warp song. But yeah, Metroid Prime and Fusion have been 0wnzed, and so I'm workin' on finishing up Wind Waker, and ofcourse constantly playin' mah FFXI Must obtain dragooon!
