Anyone play Battle Field 1942 or any one of the new mods out like the GI-joe one or Desert Combat? |

I Play BF1942....It is truley a work of art in all its simplicity.
War is simply a collection of people trying to kill one another in an attempt to have sex with women and BF 1942 covers this greatly.
In games like Medal of Honor they want you to do missions like disable tanks or long range cannons. Did they EVER consider AIR STRIKES?!
In BF 1942 you can commendeer enemy land and air-craft and bomb the shizzle outta cities and bases. Capturing key control points is ideal but basically the game comes down to Who can shoot more bullets faster and more accurate on their road to the sweet sweet women laying in wait for them. |

I play Desert Combat, and I own with a Hind!
(message to all other POs)
If you don't have DesertCombat alpha version 0.03 (I think) go get it! I think they must have made a more recent version by now.
BTW DesertCombat is a Total conversion for BF1942 that puts A-10 bombers, Hummers, AK-47 and helicopters in the game! (and much more) It's US vs Iraq. Personnally I prefer the Iraq side for they have a cool tank-like-nearly-undestructable chopper, the Hind! Ya! |

Pfft, Hind is a Russian Gunship man...The hell are the Iraqi's doin with a Hind? The most advance flying machine they got is like a Camel with REALLY bad gas...MWAHAHA! |

the Russian sell their weapons to anyone with the money to buy them and I mean anyone. If you find a black market seller then even you yourself could get one. Desert Combat is in stage .38b and they added a nade launcher to the assault guy. I rock with the m16 or the support morter/ shot gun. oh ya and the tanks now have their real armor so if you get behind one it goes up faster. |

If it wasn't that the americain combat chopper was sooooo weak (I mean damn, you can have it shot down by an AK47) It'd like it more, I have to say that I prefer the manuevrability of the Americain helicopter (forgot the name) but the hind is just ... too ... Hindy!
