Hellboy: Sword of Storms

Sword of Storms is the first in a (what appears to be) series of animated Hellboy movies. The thing is, they actually use the same actors from the Hellboy movie to voice the characters, so Ron Pearlman is still Hellboy and Selma Blair is still Liz Sherman.

I picked this up the other day in Target because it caught my eye, and finally got around to watching it last night and I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually pretty good. And I also came to discover that on June 12, the second film in the series, Blood and Iron, is going to be released. And there are plans for a 3rd called The Phantom Claw, which will introduce Lobster Johnson.

Overall, I would reccommend this, especially of you're a fan of the comics (which I am). If you want to read up some more on them you can go to www.gotohellboy.com.

I saw SoS and BaI on cartoon network awhile ago. Both were pretty good as far as animation goes, the stories were....ok.

I would recommend em for Hellboy fans tho.

i was sort of dissapointed with the movie. perhaps these are better.
