This time, he won't let the VT incident go.
He sent an email to Bill Gates! Bill Fracking Gates! Telling him it was his fault that it happened. How the hell!?
The quote is long, so here's the link
Here's a highlight from the letter to Gates.
GameAlmighty wrote: | Mr. Gates, your company is potentially legally liable the harm done at Virginia Tech. Your game, a killing simulator, according to the news that used to be in the Post, trained him to enjoy killing and how to kill. You knew five years ago that your on-line game, Counterstrike, so clearly figured in the massacre by a student in Erfurt that the event and the game impacted the race for Chancellor in Germany at the time!
Yet, here you are, five years after "Erfurt," still marketing Counterstrike. having done nothing to disable the server(s) for this mass murder simulator, and it looks like "Virginia Tech" is a consequence. There’s more going on in the world than Vista. Just ask the bereaved Virginia Tech families.
Mr. Gates, pull the plug on Counterstrike today, or do we need more dead to convince you? "Virginia Tech" was the 9-11 of school shootings, and it appears Microsoft is in the middle of it, in more ways than one. |
Then, they apparently found NO VIDEOGAMES IN CHO'S DORM!

Video games were one of the first things blamed for the recent shootings at Virginia Tech. Dr. Phil and a certain Floridiot lawyer were two of the loudest voices, while an article in the online version of the Washing Post briefly mentioned Cho was a Counter-Strike player in high school. Not a big deal in our eyes, but to the general public if Cho even looked at a video game, it's case-closed.
After police searched Cho's dorm room, however, it seems he didn't own any video games at all. No murder simulators or gun training programs, not even a copy of Tetris. If video games didn't teach him these skills, where did they come from?! Oh noes!
We've posted our feelings about violent video games. Hopefully this lack of evidence will silence the anti-gaming pundits for a while. |
MSNBC's Chris Matthews gave Jack the Frack a deserved thrashing.
Here's the video on Kotaku

Video games had nothing to do with this. I'm tired of Thompson spewing his trash all over the airwaves and internet. |

I normally don't like to play this card, but here goes...
In Counterstrike, you (for the most part) kill terrorists (at least sometimes). So blaming Counterstrike is like being un-American...right? The terrorits win now, right?
Who the hell still plays Counterstrike anymore anyway?
Someone need to just frag this dude and get it over with...

Since when does Microsoft own Counterstrike to begin with? Valve is still a third-party developer, so sending a letter like that to Bill Gates won't do anything about that game being on store shelves.
Ming: CS:Sourse is heavily played, still, and is basically the same game. |

Even funnier is that he believes that Super Columbine Massacre RPG can be used as a Tactical Education title in how to perform school shootings, anyone actually played it? the only tactical thing about it is selecting "attack" or whatever it was from the turn based battle systems menu.
(btw, thats not on the article Shino posted, I'll get the link in a lil while as I'm off to make smoething to eat) |

That was one of my thoughts BK. Kinda ridiculous how he makes his assumptions.
Did you ever hear his complaints about Blitz: the League?
He actually threw out the comment "The NFL wouldn't allow it's name to be used, so that tells you something."
Nevermind that EA exclusively owns the rights to the NFL license.
He's a fucktard! |

This guy is a moron, he doesnt want to accept facts, and instead chooses to push his personal opinions and beliefs as facts, and that makes him an ignorant idiot in my book.
Someone like him is on par with being a racist in my book...Just as ignorant and just as quick to throw the book at games/gamers |

I've been told by a friend (who can;t remember the source) that theyve found no videogames in his dorm, but due to those pictures theyve found of him, they're now blaming the film Oldboy |
