Stereotypes

What stereotypes for your country, or region of your country, do you feel you adhere to and find it funny that you do?

~ I drink alot of tea, and generally have 1 in the morning, 1 at lunch, 1 around 5 (the queens drinking time I believe) and another before I go to bed. Although I have 3 teaspoons of sugar in my tea (I know I know!) but I don't use the working class method for making it (milk before water :-S) or a teapot.

~ Pies, Fish & Chips, Roast Dinners, and All Day Breakfasts are among my favourite meals.

~ I'm wary of "Johnny Foreigner". I'm fine if I'm ever in a different country, but have a slight hummness towards the ammount of Polish and other nationals that are entering Great Britain, leaving alot of jobs unavailable for people born here. Although I also think thats our fault as we're too proud a nation and we'd rather be in the dole queue than work in burger restaurents or other "unworthy" jobs.

Lastly, this man is a god: (warning, some bad language and any discrimination is really only a joke.)

Even though I'm only half puerto rican (and speak only five words of spanish) I have the puerto rican butt. It's big and round and damn I'm proud of it.

I also have several quirks that I have been told are English. Get it from my mother, I suppose. ^^

A lot of the people that live where I live are very rich and snobs. Even though I'm not rich, I can act kind of like a snob sometimes, and I do think I'm better than everyone else...as Tobs can attest.

And being half Cuban, I've come to refer to myself as "50% Beaner".

While we ARE 50% cuban (and therefor 50% beaner), Ming and I are also 50% Italian. And trust me, we can make some mean Spaghetti and Meatballs!

Also, the fact that my hair is greasy and i like to "Make offers that cannot be refused."

I am also part Italian and didn't notice until recently how it kind of seeps through. I'm LOUD and OBNOXIOUS when I'm excited; I speak with my hands a good bit; I insist that people eat when they visit and I LOVE pizelles. Cooking is bonding time and should be taken slow and enjoyed. If I wasn't a singer I'd love to be an italian chef. I think exotic women of darker coloring such as hispanics and italian women, are sexy especially the accents (Sophia Loren was a goddess!). Oh yeah, and I have no problem being a bigger guy.
