I recently purchased an LCD HDTV (thank you car accident settlement... except for the huge scar on my shoulder) and I've been hearing things about calibrating it. Does anyone have any expertise in this? Is there a DVD to help me? |

I haven't heard of calibrating an LCD TV. Only CRT Projection TVs.
I had mine professionally calibrated and it made a WORLD of difference.
I've been trying to find a spot online that would tell me how to do it myself, but I couldn't find anything. |

I'm still looking for info on how to do it. I know for my TV, you calibrate it from the remote. I'm sure it's something similar for an LCD.
I'm going to post a topic on AVSForums.com and see if they can tell me anything. |
