Yea, I've played it I have to say its THE most awesome RPG I've played for the PS2. Yes even better than Final Fantasy. Where else can you find a game that in order to use your powers you have to shoot yourself in the head with a gun? The only pain in the ass thing about it is the dating-sim like qualities. Do I chill with my baby girl or do I help my buddy get shacked up with a teacher (yea, one of your friends actually tries to score a date with a teacher which asks another question. Do schoolboys in high school in Japan really date they're teachers or is this another goofy premise that the creators made up?), or do I say "Screw you all I'm gonna go kill some demons with my burning ninja chick of flaming death.".
As for the music...it's fweakin sweet. It's not some orchastrated junk for the most time, its actually a mix of hip-hop and jazz with lyrics. Most of the time I find myself taking my time in battles just to listen to the tunes.

I love the Shin Megami Tensei series of games, although I'm not sure if this one has got a PAL release, and its gonna be difficult for it to get past the BBFC at the moment, let alone the Daily freaking Mail! |

Heard yesterday that Koei are publishing it over here sometime in the new year.
