Import games added to Wii Virtual Console list!

I didn't make this a simple add-on to the VC list thread because I'm not neccessarily addressing the games here. The games in question are Super Mario Bros- The Lost levels and Sin & Punishment. While these may be good games I'm more excited about the fact that Nintendo is offerring import games and leaving them intact (so far) so as not to destroy the integrity of the game. Now I don't know how many of you have played import games but I was big into them in the Genny/Saturn days. Nowadays it's a bit less important as every game seems to make it's way to all shores anyway in search of as much cash as it can generate. Still, if it weren't for the import market I couldn't have suggested a Saturn to anyone. Firepro, the Capcom fighting games, Fighter's Megamix, etc. I know some got US releases but all were watered down. Hell, I bought both versions of Guardian Heroes and finished all ending in both copies. The Japanese version was harder also.

Anyway, this is an incredible move and I hope it leads to more Japanese games reaching our shores.

Sega, PLEEEEZ give the go-ahead for the Saturn games!!!!!

Oh, I remember the Fighter's Megamix! Isn't that the one that had the Daytona car as a character?

Yeah! I played that game for a little bit. I never owned a Saturn, but my friend let me borrow his for a while and I rented this game. LOVED IT!

I hope they bring Burning Rangers to one of the downloadable services as thats a great game! I'd definetly download it despite already owning it.

Although I'd prefer them to clean it up a bit and stick in on XBLA Razz
