So Code Atom's going to have a van soon. It's niiiiiice. But that puts our recording budget in jeopardy. The folks at Tree Sound have extended to us absolutely insane rates just because they want to work with us and I'm not going to ignore their hospitality. So, we're not going to take this lying down! We're going to be asking The Atom's Family verry soon to help us with ideas for Code Atom Fundraisers! That's right. I, for one, am not below selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts or candy bars to get money coming in from all directions. We're also considering a Code Atom cookout and/or car wash so if you want to help wake this beast and give us a hand please don't hesitate to respond to this message. If you have any better/other ideas also, tell us! We are making this happen whether it wants to easily or not!

What you could do is setup a BBQ at a public venue like a park, and perform live music. Sell the BBQ and swag like CDs, Shirts, etc. Make sure the booths have attractive women (I'm sure they are in plentiful and willing supply on PO). I'm not sure how much it would cost to setup shop, but if it is relatively inexpensive then you could make a killing selling food, beer, and swag.

I think a cookout where you guys perform would be a fantabulous hit. We can even make fliers and tack them up places-- I could certainly put some up around the school and I bet a lot of people would be interested, particularly if we put your myspace on there so they can check out the music too.
