Have the coolest outfits. No seriously, it's awesome how it blends victorian style with modern day wear. Very very nicey nice. It's a damn shame that it really hasn't hit here in the US. I mean I would honestly say I would date a GL chick. I wonder if any of you kids have ever wore somethin like this. I don't know if most of my American brethren think this is cool or not but I would like to see SOMEONE waltzin around wearin a nice white/black dress. |

I'm not sure how many people pick up the GL style (outside of conventions, where I have seen soem absolutely gorgeous outfits), but there are probably quite a few people who have interest in Victorian-era clothing around, which is better than nothing. If you find the right people, maybe you can convince them to give the fashion a shot, or osmething like it. If it isn't there, make it, yeah? |

Personally I don't understand/can't stand the Gothic Lolita movement. I guess it's mostly because I hate frills/lace/tiny hats/crowns that make absolutely no sense. And possibly because I don't understand the appeal of trying to look five and attract guys twice your actual age. Pedophiles aren't really my personal cup of tea.
But, as far as I can gather, this is what goth girls decided to come up with in order to be goth -and- be girly at the same time. So, since I'm neither goth nor girly, I suppose it makes sense that I don't understand it/like it at all. |
