Yup... Well, not now, but the have announced it.
It would be smart for them to do it on PSN as well. Wonder if they will do that. They already have the relationship with Sony. Actually, they could even make it so you can use the same save game on the PSN version as the PSP version.
That would be awesome!

Games slated for a vague 'later this year.'
By Dan Dormer, 05/01/2007
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, already released on the PSP and Nintendo DS, is now making its way to Xbox Live Arcade "later this year" as part of a trio of games from D3 Publisher. Mad Tracks, a racing game inspired by "pull-back-and-go toy cars," and RocketBowl, which "brings the fun of miniature golf to the bowling alley," comprise the other planned releases.
"What ties all of D3PA's titles together are not genre or size of game or developer, but an unsurpassable element of fun," said Yoji Takenaka, executive VP and CEO. "We look forward to capitalizing on Xbox Live Arcade's wide reach and ease of use to bring gamers unique titles that fit the bill of delivering the highest enjoyment factors." |

I don't think they planned the game to hit off like it did.
I haven't bought a copy yet as I am saving up for a laptop, but I might wait for that version. |

If you aren't getting it for a portable now, you should probably consider the PC version. I"m pretty sure that will come out first, and mouse support will be nice.
Speaking from experience, using the dpad is great, but when training mounts, getting them to higher levels requires you winning a fight while making moves in < 3 seconds. This is not always easy using the dpad to navigate the board. Using the dpad on the 360 would make it even more difficult.
Besides training mounts though, I think it work well. |

D3Publisher set to bring popular role-playing puzzler to new platforms and mobile phones in early 2008.
By Tom Magrino, GameSpot
Posted Jul 17, 2007 7:58 pm ET
Last May, D3Publisher announced it would be bringing many of its games to Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade. The highest-profile title in the 360-bound bunch was the breakout hit Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. Previously, the Bejeweled-inspired puzzler with role-playing game sensibilities was available only on the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable.
Apparently realizing it has a sleeper hit on its hands, D3 today announced that Wii, PlayStation 2, PC, and mobile versions of Puzzle Quest are also in the pipe. The recently acquired Vicious Cycle, which developed the PSP version of Puzzle Quest, will rework the gem-jangling puzzler for the Wii and PS2, while THQ's ValuSoft and THQ Wireless studios will cover the PC and mobile versions, respectively.
Puzzle Quest for the Wii, PS2, PC, and mobile platforms will be available in "early 2008," while the Xbox 360 version is still slated to release "later this year." The game has been rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older on all platforms. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage. |

Why are you complaing abotu that? You have all the other platforms, plus PC imo would be most useful and makes me happy i haven't shelled out anything for it yet.
Also I love how PC gaming is gaining momentum once again after almost dieing off. |

When was it dying off.
I'm complaining b/c it's not on PSN. I've written emails to both i2 and D3P about bringing it to PSN with the ability to move your saved game from the PSP to the PS3. Now it's coming out on everything but PSN.
I have no desire to play the game on any other platform if I can't use my characters from my PSP save games. |

No platform shall oppose the mighty tide of RPG jewel-breaking!
By Mark Whiting, 07/25/2007
Puzzle Quest is unquestionably one of the unexpected hits of 2007. Who knew that combining Bejewelled and Baldur's Gate would go down smooth as sponge cake and delicious cream filling?
And what do you do if your company happens to find itself with an unexpected hit on its hands? Cross-port like crazy! Duh.
Today, Joystiq is running some evidence which seems to implicate both a Mac and PlayStation 3 version of the popular puzzle RPG are currently in the works. As proof, check this page of the ESRB's website where (mysteriously) the versions listed above can be seen openly snuggling up next to their established console cousins.
While Puzzle Quest is indeed awesome, this effort has to represent some kind of unofficial record for maximum simultaneous number of ports co-existing in the same gamespace. Guess you can now look forward to breaking jewels and leveling up your paladin no matter which side of the snooty mac/pc divide you happen to be gazing out across. No word on whether uber-cheap AI multiple-gem-dropping cheapness made the transition in effect or not.
The mind reels at the thought of fully cell processor enhanced next-generation puzzle questing. |

Don't you remember when they started completely shrinking the space of PC games at game stores? That my friend was during the decline of PC gaming.
