I couldn't find a place for shameless plugs, so I guess this goes here? I started an entertainment blog last week, and by golly I've now set myself on weekly updates. I'll basically be talking about different things from the music and movie industries, sometimes the business side and sometimes more well known topics (such as the first 2 posts). Anyways, if anyone here is interested in checking it out you can find it here and feel free to comment.

Constructive Crit: Give more examples with more in depth reviews. I like you mentioned some indie flicks (Hard Candy and Shanghai Kiss) but with a lack of description I'm not inclined to even look them up.

I think you have an excellent start here, just give it some more meat.

Even the spoofs, don't be afraid to pick something apart. It helps solidy your points.

Yeah, I had thought of mentioning someone of the ones I don't like; but I'm also one of those guys that doesn't like to give "free advertising" to the things I don't like. My focus right now is more on being disciplined enough to update it weekly, but I'll try to talk more about particular examples. Stay tuned this week for a look at celebrity heroes, or the lack there of.

I've also been thinking of doing a "new release Tuesday" post where I would talk about certain new releases both on DVD and in theatres, and in those posts I'd probably get a little more into why I do or do not recommend particular titles.

Sorry for the double post, just wanted to drop by and say that Hmm has officially been updated this week. I decided a few days ago to go with a Grammy related blog that I hope is informative and interesting, as well as attempted to start BK's Recommendation of the week. Hope you like it.

Updated a little late this time, and quite a bit longer. This week I decided to take a look at how art imitates life and how life imitates art. Also, this weeks recommendation is Valentine related; as much as I prefer to avoid this holiday. Perhaps long winded, overall, but I'm non-the-less happy with how it turned out.
