I'm a huge fan of the original series with Don Adams so I came in with pretty high hopes. I'm not one of those people that likes to hold movies up to an impossible standard, and although I'm pretty tired of hollywood remakes of old television series and such I felt pretty satisfied with this one. It was a nice, witty update to the old series and it was fresh enough to not feel like a carbon copy. Carrell's Maxwell Smart is almost on his own vibe while still keeping the spirit of Adam's Smart so it felt very nice not to have him directly copying from the series.

Very entertaining throughout, I don't think there were any jokes that just fell flat. It was very charming and paid respect and homage to the previous series. So I have no complaints really, it was a very good movie and I highly recommend it
