Didn't see a topic dedicated to Edward Norton's attempt at being a superhero, so here it is.
Link to trailer
I doubt it could be worse than Ang Lee's movie. |

honestly, i don't know if i could bring myself to see it. This feels like the film industry said, "Oops...we missed the first time...lets try again."
That being said, it skews my idea of how this movie is going to come out.
But i'm going to be strange and say this: As much as The Hulk wasn't a great movie, i DID enjoy it. Strangely enough... |

Parts of it were good, but by the end of it it was one of the worst comic to movie adaptions I had seen.
That being said, part of me is apprehensive about this one. The trailer looks cool, but so did the trailer for Hulk. Tim Roth playing The Abomination is a plus. |

Yeah the cast may be the reason I go see this. I love Ed, Liv, Tim Roth and William Hurt. Also, stop ins of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark are going to tie it quite nicely to IronMan. (WEEE!!!)
The soundtrack is done by Craig Armstrong who is most excellent.
I'll go see it. Probably at the AMCinema $5 deal. |

Was good, MUCH better than the other one. Another cameo was Lou Ferrigno. I enjoyed it, and FINALLY seeing Ironman right after was nice, except I had to sit through the exact same commercials for 30 minutes before the movie started, lol.

I haven't seen the Ang Lee version but I really enjoyed this one
It seemed to have more of a feel of the original TV series, they even played the theme at one point which made me giggle. It really captured the spirit of The Hulk as a misunderstood monster :] |

I didn't watch the old one all the way through, but this one i felt had a lot of charm that the old one lacked.
I liked that it didn't overlap what I remember of the other movie, in that they didn't start off exactly at his transformation.
i dragged my wife off to see it, and it may have actually convinced her to see Iron Man, which is a small miracle in it's own right. |

I was wondering when someone was going to post something about this.

I did the exact same thing, because I hadn't seen Iron Man yet either. I was really impressed, as it was definiately an improvement over the last one 5 years ago.
Some critics were saying that The Hulk was just as good as Iron Man. The Hulk was good, but I think that that statement is a bit of stretch or exaggeration. Iron Man was probably the best superhero movie I've ever seen.

From what I was reading about the movie, this is exactly what they were going for. I believe one of the problems with the Ang Lee version is that they sort of ignored the old TV show, which is what really popularized the Hulk in the first place. |

So, I finally got to see the movie after a failed attempt to see it opening night. It was worth the wait and the $8.75 ticket. I'm now looking forward to what Marvel Studios does with Captain America, Thor, and the upcoming and constantly alluded to Avengers movie.
I think that Marvel really saved themselves some face by retaking their license and being a lot more hands on with the making of the movies. |
