This just in this week: there has been a new list released to determine if someone might be a domestic terrorist or a militia member. reading through it, it reminds me as to why one must be watchful of all arround you as you might be "listable" by just being a good citizen. not going to comment much more on this but i ask for y'all to give me your fair opinion.

It was trying hard to present itself as legitimate, but it went off the rails at the point that it declared the President the frontman for a OWG conspiracy. At that point, it invited police scrutiny and made it seem like there was a legitimate interest in looking after libertarian groups as terrorists. If you behave like anti-government conspiracy nuts, the government will treat you as such. The article attempts to explain it away by saying "We have the truth!" but that's not a convincing argument when the rest of the country thinks you're a conspiracy nut.
In their defense, however, I do agree with the eventual assertion - if police overreact and harm legitimate supporters in legitimate activities, they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. That law may shield them from prosecution completely, depending on the National Securityness of their work, but the effort should be made. |

no. i was asking if according to the parameters in this report you would be listed as a domestic terrorist or militia member given the wide net cast in the actual report. plus i feel it is concerning that a govt funded agency would list concern for the country as a threat. |

Under those criteria, DLOE, everyone is a terrorist, whether they've been designated as such or not. I don't think, however, that you can equate "concern for the country" with "people who believe they will be in a Mad Max situation or fighting off oppressive governmental forces when the people revolt". |
