So I'm saving up money for a trip to Europe so I can go backpacking all around with my friend. I should have all the money I need by January of next year but I understand some of our fellow POs live in the UK and maybe other random areas all throughout Europe and I would love to have a local tell me what I should see, where I should go or not go.. lol |

If you are swinging through Spain, please feel free to PM me. Although I don't live there anymore, and wont be visiting this summer, I can tell you a lot about what to see and how to travel. Even where my family lives.  |

If you happen through Austria or Hungary, My ex lives in both places (austria is home, Hungary is school). Not much I can say she will say about hungary, since she spends most of her time in her room studying, but she does know a bit about Austria, as do I. |

UP can help you out if you decide to go through Germany.
A word of advice...we spent a week in Germany in February, and I highly reccommend NOT going in January, and waiting until the spring or summer to go to Europe. |

With London there's all the normal places to visit, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament (i.e. Big Ben). But other than that it really depends on the sort of thing you do want to see. |

Akila and I are still living in Germany for the time being. I got promoted recently so I might be coming back to the states next year. But if you come through Germany before we leave definately PM me. We'll hook you up the best we can.
Good luck with the whole backpacking thing. That sounds like a lot of fun! |

Well aside from just seeing the world I plan to study abroad or two lol!! Thanks for the info guys, I'll be sure to updat this when I get closer to actually going. Why should I wait till spring or summer Ming? |

Ming's right, I can't speak for the rest of Europe, but Germany is much more enjoyable during the spring and summer. Unless of course you plan on attending Octoberfest! Which is in September, oddly enough. |
