Hey guys, it's been a while, I know, and I've missed you all. I definitely need to keep up to date with PO more, since i think the last time I might have visited was maybe a year ago.
I digress
I gots a question for all of you tech-savvy kids out there, but some background first:
I have a Canon EOS 7d, which I use for film and photography. Now while it's a wonderful camera, and the fact that it's lightweight, well balanced, compact, and has the ability to be very modular, Memory is kindof annoying. Why annoying?
Cause it only takes Compact Flash Cards.
Now while a 64GB compact flash card exists (and isn't too bad for 120 bucks on amazon), I'm trying to figure out if there either exists technology to hook up the camera to a rig that saves directly to a hard drive, or if anyone knows of a way how. It would make my camera-work much better, and make long, documentary-style work a lot more manageable, as I wouldn't have to run from card to compy constantly.
