Has anyone seen this anime? I mean it must be good 'cuz every time I go to rent it it's out. Can someone give me a description? A preview on the web somewhere? Something?! Sheesh.

OMFG! You are so totally like not serious are you? Psha!
hehehe.
Ok, the series is about a guy named Guts, he has a sword that is SOLID steel and about 10 feet long and 1.5 feet wide. (Oddly enough he's the only person who can use it effectively)
Ok, the story starts with Guts in bad-ass form kickin butt cause he hates some King he knows.
BUT he soon doses off and begins remenissing of his "Back when I sucked" Days. And for like basically the rest of the series it's about him helping the King that he in the future hates gain power and selling his soul to demons and what have you.
Then at the end the demons kidnap his woman (This is past the kingly hating part) and Guts goes ape-shizzy and like Berserks so to speak.
So if ya like blood-guts, and chunks of ass flyin everywhere on top of a politically well versed story with the everpresnt love affair thingy then this series is like beautiful.
And main note when the series starts sucking, it just means it's about to get good. (Think Record of Lodoss Wars TV series.) |
