I figured I should keep you anime fans updated on the new anime coming to da world. Well, TV world anyway...Too hard ta keep up with DVD releases.

Execs from Cartoon Network got together for a press conference in New York this
morning to reveal what they have planned for 2003. Amongst their list of
various
new titles were some new anime:

ADULT SWIM
26 eps of Trigun

Also a note for transformer fans - they've picked up 26 eps of the new
Transformers Armada.

*** MegaMan on WB? ***
Reuters.com is reporting that ShoPro Entertainment's MegaMan: NT Warrior is
headed to the Kid's WB this summer. The show follows 10-year-old Lan and her
superhero alter ego, Mega Man. The story is set in the not-so-distant future,
where everything is connected to a central computer system and threatening
hackers
loom.

Can anyone brief me on the general synopsis of the following shows:

i can help with Big O:

its basically about this guy who secretly has this ginormus robot, who lives in a place with no memories. The world (i think) already underwent a sort of apocalypse, whereas there is no more sun, and that it is almost always dark. The main character goes around claiming that he is a negotiator, but is also kindof (i think) looking for the lost memories of the world. I may be wrong, but this is what i got from the show. so if im wrong, someone please feel free to correct me

.hack//sign is about an online RPG and a kid named Tsuke(sp) who can't log out. It's part of a collection of shows and games that take place in the .hack universe.

.Hack/Sign is basically a real time type video game that he main character starts playing but if you die in the game you go into a coma IRL due to a buncha hackers hacking and putting viruses in the system... Haven't seen too much of the Anime but the video game kicks MUCHO assages.

Hamtaro is the story of a hamster named Hamtaro and his friends and how they tackle problems that, coincidently, are being faced by Hamtaro's owner at the same time...It's like Hello Kitty only better.

Blue Gender I remember sucking for some reason...Mainly cause Funimation took a year off of doing DBZ to produce it. Plus the animation isn't all that great...I think...May be confusing it.

SD Gundam is about Gundams and not just ANY Gundams...Super Deformed gundams with big heads and limbs and small bodies....Ok, so I have NO clue what it is.

I've seen Big O...Fairly awesome.

Kikaider is a mystery to me but in CN is the Best forum a discussion is being started about it.

Okay I am happy about all these new shows and whatnot but will someone tell me why there moving .hack//sign too 10pm.

.hack//sign is a great series. It's really great in the original Japanese, so if you can find it that way that would be best. The plot is really involved. It's about this one guy (just one) who can't log out of this MMORGP and he experiences it like the real world. I won't say anymore about it except it's less about hackers than it's about... prophesies (I've said too much!)
Hamptaro is about a Hampster named Hamptaro and his little hamster buddies. Think cute animal anime for all the little kiddies out there.

I found out a while back from JapanHero(.com) that Kikaider might be poppin up on CN, which pleeeeases me! : D Kikaider kicks so much booty; and the anime for it is pretty kick ass(kinda like the Hakaider movie; nice to see that they didn't give up on good ol' Kikaider, lol).
Kikaider is based on the Japanese live action series of the same name about an android that changes from human to robot. If anyone here knows who Metalder is(or...: Sigh

: Ryan Steele's suit from VR Troopers...the red and blue one..), then you've got an idea of what Kikaider looks like.
The animation(though I've seen bits and clips; never a whole episode) is kinda dark, if I remember correctly. There are a whole 12 episodes, so it'll be a short run series if it hits Toonami. The whole show is basically good guy vs bad guy...don't remember much on the villains(except Hakaider : D ).
I used to know where you can find stuff on Kikaider- The animation, but I kinda lost them in the great "system cleaning" about three months back. You can see what Kikaider looks like from the live action series(which will give you an idea of the cartoon designs) both

As for the others...I'll let everyone else do that; Toku'sentai is where I am strongest in knowledge(next to TF's), so I figured I wanted to be the first to do the Kikaider run-through.
