Signs vs. The Ring

I was a big fan of Signs when it came out. I still am, and I believe that it was incredibly well made with regards to how it scared the crap outta so many people. I think that it was all about the sounds and music in the movie. I know that another recent scary movie was The Ring, which I recently saw. At first, I wasn't too thrilled, and while I thought that it was a cool scary flick, I thought that it wouldn't come close to the scariness that I found in Signs. Well, all I know is that at THAT POINT, I didn't think much of it, but boy did I ever have trouble sleeping for the next few days. Now that I look back on it, The Ring was a pretty creepy movie...especially when you see the girl in the closet (that's all I'll say). It just all hit me later on. Just curious though, which do you guys think is scarier?
