So I went to barnes and Noble yesterday and I saw the Evanescence cd in the music section. I had been debating getting it for the last week or so, then barnes and noble didn't have I.N.V.U 2 so I decided to blow $20 and get the cd instead. It's REALLY good. I love the mix of so many different styles of music on it. Bottom line: good cd, my fav. songs Going under and Bring me to life.  |

20 bucks for it? Man your getting ripped off. Head to the nearest Best Buy and see how much they are selling cds for. I buy music from there for like $14 or less.
Anyway about evanscence...I don't care for them and maybe its just me but I think they are too overplayed. I swear I've heard "bring me to life" like 500 times over the summer. |

Ok so i like them but only because two songs have symbolic meaning but still they sucked live because of a couple of pathetic things they did :anime: |

Well I'm not really in a good position to judge them on the whole considering I've only heard three of their songs and have never seen them live before(or plan on). Although I must admit their cover of Heart Shaped Box wasn't bad at all. If you haven't heard it before then check kazaa, its from some gig at a radio station. Overall I still like the original better though. |

Evanescence is great. I have my copy of their CD, but I had a friend copy it for me, so I didn't pay anything, but I think it is a CD well worth paying for...maybe not $20, but definitely good enough to pay.
At any rate, I don't know how anyone can say they are bad live. Maybe you saw them on a bad day, because when I saw them live in July, they were INCREDIBLE. Their sound was fantastic, and they have great stage presence.
But I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion... |

Aww well I earned the $ so i guess its ok. Too bad i dont think theres best buys near me. Maybe I'm wrong? I personally dont really know a lot about this kind of music (whatever kind u'd call it? lol). So i guess I'm not one to say what quality of music it is. I just thought it was kind cool. LOL, yup yup yup.  |

LOL Righty ok but since I cant drive and I'm not gonna make my brother drag me into NYC I will have to resort to buying albums at full price for the time being. OoOo I just got the Linkin Park cd hybrid theory, REALLY good! |
