Another day of rain ...rain ..rain ...bloody rain ..and no i dont mean that its raining blood ...i forget some of you peeps dont use that word in a swearing fashion ..any hoo back to my ranting ...it autumn ..of fall to some of you peeps ..sheesh this barrier lingo tis hard some times ...back on topic ..i'll forget what im ranting about in a min..lol...ok...rain...this should be a time of year of colours ..<< no not mispelt its how we brits spell it  ...sheesh this is turning into a lecture thingy ..lol any hoo the raining thing ...its meant to be crisp and fresh like a new time refreshing every thing ...yeah right its refreshing every thing ok ...with water ...i want to go out and shuffle my feet thro piles of newly swept leaves to piss the person who spent hours raking them up  << me really...i want to smell the bonfires burning ...sitting in the pub <
id like to get hold of the rain maker and :bash: ...so i can sit outside  of the pub ...smell the bonfires wrapped up warm ....thats the life
BUT I CANT WHEN ITS BLOODY RAINING

 still love this guy ...and love the smilies ..can you tell ?? |

Well Gynah... first I would like to say that I was aware of all of the English references that you mentioned.  yay!
If it makes you feel any better... Here in Atlanta, GA USA, we just saw the sun for the first time in 3 weeks yesterday. I don't expect it to last that long. Yes literally 3 weeks it has been raining and cloudy. Maybe one or two days where the sun poked it's head out... but that's about it. Other Atlantans can vouch for me on this one. |

Okay, there's one thing you gotta keep in mind for this, that being my day job is that of gardener. Now you all know that I live in one of the rainest cities in the world, right? I'm talking about The Emerald City, home of Satan (aka Mircosoft). Now, normally it's all cloudy and rainy over here all the time during this season, right? Barely ever stops (you get used to it). Here's the thing, though. It hasn't rained in about a month, and it's driving me nuts! The plants aren't getting enough water and it's the RAINY season! It's crazy! So here's my idea. You guys send me all your rain, which I can use, and I'll send you all my sun. How about that? Fair trade? I think so. Alright, now I'll be expecting the rain in a few days and... what? Shipping and handling?

I also give Sperrit mad props. Not only for the comment, but because he was intelligent and didn't blame Bill Gates for Microsoft's evilness
I give much props for Bill, because his and his wife's foundation helped Sperrit an' me go with our VJ (vocal jazz) group to Carnegie Hall and sing. Awesome experience. |

Oh, man! One of the best things EVAR! This is a gardener favorite around here. You get a leaf blower and start gathering leaves into a big pile, and I mean BIG, cause we got a lot of trees that drop their leaves, and they are big trees! And you position the pile under some kind of climbable thing, like a wall, and you jump off the wall into the leaves! It's SOOO much fun! Worth all the time it takes to gather the leaves back up again. I'm gonna come over with me leaf blower and we can try it!
