Hey guys, just wanted to let you know what happened with the Message Board.
The server is and always has been running strong, unfortunatly I didn't bother to check how much space was on the disk partition that the site was on.
In basic terms, I ran out of disk space on the server and had to move the site to another partition of the drive.
In more technical terms.
Linux sets up the disk partitions on it's own and the partition that http requests goes to is rather small.
I changed the location of the site on the drive to a different partition and changed the httpd.conf file to point to that location.
Hopefully we will not see this again since by the time it takes up all of the current partition, we should have already found a place to host the site.
I sincerly apologize. I hope it didn't cause any grief. |
