Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

I got Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy for PC last week and I couldnt play it because of my video card. Anyway, I did some stuff and I got to play it now in my piece of junk PC and this is what is all about.

Jedi Academy is the new chapter of the Jedi Knight series. Though it is a stand alone game, the story takes place after Jedi Outcast. Kyle Katarn is in the Yavin 4 moon with Luke Skywalker in a Jedi Academy where they teach the ways of the force to new Padawan learners. You play as new Jedi student who come to the school to train under the wing of the Jedi master Kyle, who will teach you the way of the Force and the use of your Lightsaber.

The game is completely awesome. You get to customize your character on different races and genders. I think that the name of your character changes depending of the customization and/or gender you select at the begining.

After getting done customizing your character it's time to customize your Lightsaber. You get to select between a list if different hilts and blade colors.

Some time into the game and you'll be able to select your own fighting style. You can select between Lightsaber (Fast, Medium or Hard) Saber Staff (Double Saber) or Dual Sabers (A Saber on each hand).

As you continue your jorney investigating some weird events involving a clan of Sith you learn Force Powers, Light and Dark, and Core Powers, which makes you faster and stronger.

The game is great as a single player, but of course, you also have a Multiplayer mode !!

For those who had played Jedi Outcast before you'll be familiar with this multiplayer. For those who havent here's a brief explanation...

The Multiplayer is a different game from Single Player game and data is not transferred, so you can customized your own character in multiplayer totally different from the Single player mode. You can select what Saber fighting style you want and customize your Force Powers. The gameplay is fun. You go around in maps killing other players with Lightsaber, Laser Blasters, Thermal Detonators or whatever you find on your path. Use whatever methods necesary to eliminate your opponent and be the Jedi Master !!!

Multiplayer can be played Solo, LAN or Internet.

Im telling you guys, this is a game to own !!! It is so much fun !!!

Im playing it now and will be playing for a long time. Im gonna try and make a Room for PO'ers as soon as I have some from here to play with.

To conclude this long post on reviewing this game, Jedy Academy is fun either single player or multiplayer and with the new Double Saber and Dual Saber fighting style, alot of new challenges await, either online or off !! So go get it and come online and play with me !!!!

I dont know when you're on. I play during the weekend mostly or during the day on weekdays. Just let me know. My friend always makes game when he wants to play and he text message me so when we play Ill PM ya, but what garantee that gives me that you'll get the message in time ?
