Hey guys, I got a question and I'm hoping that someone can give me a hand here. I recently bought myself a used Dreamcast for $15. I also bought myself a memory card, which I've been having some problems with. I replaced the batteries in it, and when the thing turned on, it was all in Japanese! I would like to set it to English, if that's possible, but since I bought it used, it had no instructions. Can someone let me know a) if I CAN set it to English, and b) how to do it? Thanks a lot everyone!
Also...any suggestions for games?

I'm not sure, but I'm thinking that you have to change the VMU's language with the Dreamcast... You might find this useful:

Oh, and, if you don't own Shenmue, then you don't own a Dreamcast That is greatest game ever made for the system. |

Alorox, thanks a lot for the help. It turns out that the memory card I bought happened to be a Japanese one. I asked in one store, and the guy said that my best bet was to return it to the store I bought it from, which I did. They were happy to give me a replacement which is in fine working order, and more importantly, is in English. Thanks anyway though!

PS: I'll give Shenmue a shot if I can find a copy. |

Ahhh...I was wondering whether or not it was still playable offline. At any rate, maybe I'll pick it up. If anything, Tobs'll get some playtime out of it. Myself, I'm not much for RPGs.
