Does it suck that this game is broadband only or what? Fu--ing EA. And just when I was ready to lay the S&M-ackdown on our resident mistress. Guess it's time to upgrade. |

Actually..That's a good thing..It sucks when Broadband and dial-up meet in the same place. One person has finished the track and the other's engine ain't hit 3000 RPM yet. |

Just got this yesterday and man am I loveing it.
And how cool is it that it is cross platform.
I'm probably going to be playing against a friend who plays it on PC
I have to say though, the PC version looks A LOT better!!! |

Guys, the Dreamcast did dialup play with little lag or hiccups YEARS AGO! And a "big and powerful megacompany" like EA can't do the same thing? I'm tired of hearing the "We wanted to bring the best experience" or "This just wasn't possible" when giving excuses for broadband only gaming. It comes down to "can you program or not?" Unfortunately the quiet answer is most often "no". (head to the Champions of Norrath thread for more) |
