Dunno if there was already a thread about this, but here goes anyway.
I've played the LoK series since Blood Omen 1, and I have to say I love the way they innerweave the story, there are so many directions and possibilities that it can take. I haven't completed the game yet, but here are some of my theories.
Kain was brought back to life by the necromancer Mortanius (sp?) SO it's a possibility that he wasn't brought back as a vampire, but a demon. (when I say vampire I am referring to the blue winged beasts you commonly see in murals) and until Kain banished Raziel, he was a demon too. It's possible that the Elder God could be an ancient vampire who turned Raziel into a vampire, or it could also be possible that the Elder God is a Demon, and the reason it can't leave the depths of Nosgoth is because the Pillars are retaining it. Also, I found it strange how in the murals it depicts the vampires in an almost holy, somewhat angelic light. COuld this be Nosgoth's version of Heaven/Hell?? Also, if my theory about Kain being one of the demons was right, wouldn't it also be odd if him travelling back in time and battling with Raziel in the early days of the Vampires is what kicks off the war between them? See what I mean? The story is amazing, and I'm yearning to play more (unfortunately, it'll have to wait until tomorrow, as my friend has my PS2 at the moment) Anyway, if anyone else has any story theories, please feel free. And for those of you who have beaten the game and (possibly) know the truth of it all, please refrain from spoiling. Thanks.

i have no clue as for the storyline cus when i first played the game i got blod omen 2 and not one and i was a lot younger and didn't ever listen to the stor heh (we all did that as kids right?) but! im going to be getting all three for x-box and let the killing begin! your blood is mine? ooh but i do think in the third you still are a vampire because it says "use your vampire strenght or soemthing like that to kill your foes" on the back of the box and i must say Kain looks way cooler now! |

k.. so i never grew out of my kid phase with some types of games lol but i do remeber killing those guards and then swiping there wepons. hmmm! |
