While it seems like a marketting nightmare, I'm optimistic about it. I mean, if its done in the tradition of the old Marvel vs Capcoms, it could really be some fun to play. |

What were they thinking? Money. Allying yourself with EA gives you US distribution larger than Frito-Lays. Marvel files for bankruptcy every other month so why not do this? How many of you bought a VS game since the Dreamcast died? Also remember, the VS series is a Capcom thing, not a Marvel thing. Marvel had no game deals at all in that area.
Personally I don't like it but not for the fact that they "left" Capcom but for the fact that EA has the deal. Owning no superhero franchise I do expect to see celebrities (sports stars) tho. Booo-hiss |

 very true, you are right. EA has the largest distributing of any other "name." |

My thinking is Marvel Vs. Campcom has been done and we were happy..We don't need a "MvsC 2 turbo special edition alpha 3" (Instores this fall)
But Yer not thinking about how many Studios EA pownz! I mean c'mon..they own Orion who owns Wing Commander which means maybe the Kilrathi will attack. I mean with all EA's splinter companies they can drudge up someone somewhere. Just give em a chance and they'll impress us...It's Capcom after all. |
