Me and Tobs just picked this up for his GameCube. OMG...Greatest game EVER! It's so much fun to play, even though we both suck royally!! And what a GREAT concept for a game. My hat goes off to the people of Nintendo for this one.

The soundtrack kinda scares me <. .> I wish rhythm games would keep their original soundtrack upon "localization" more often. But that's how it goes, appealing to the general masses.
As far as drum games go, I will always be faithful to my beloved Taiko Drumming, or whatever it's called  Import version though, with crazy techno and jpop/jrock  |

I want this game.. the demo I played was a blast. But I'm with Cobbi... the Japanese soundtracks on Bemani games are vastly superior to their American counterparts. I wish we could -occasionally- get an unaltered version brought over. Donkey Konga JP Edtn. or something would be nice. The Japanese version had the themes from Gundam Seed and Naruto ... whereas America got... Bingo? Who makes these kinda decisions??? |
