Kino's Journey

Deep, moving, silent, stylistic, and humorous are words that jump to mind when describing this anime. Its just now coming out (vol 2 was released yesterday), but its certinaly a really great watch and I liked it so much I'm buying the series.

The series revoles around a young traveler named Kino whom we get to share expereinces with in his travels. From the light hearted to the ironic, to the down right vile - this anime goes everywhere while maainting a tight integrety and watchability. In a word where nations are segregated and tradtions between each is wide and bizarre, youll enjoy seeing a travelers perspecive on the odd stories and histories of every nation. Some places Kino cruises through in 10 minutes watching time, some he spends an entire episode in, but never more than three days in any once place...

We even get to see a look at what made Kino become a traveler in teh first place, where the talking Motorbike Hermes comes from, and maybe something about Kino himself that may take you COMPLETLY by surprise.

In any case, highly suggested as a rent OR a buy.
