I'm late i know. I just finished FFVII um..... 4... no 3 days ago. Anyway I'm already stuck on FFVIII. You see I'm playing as Laguna for the second time and I donno where to go.... Gods I suck...

It's quite easy Kai my friend...What you do at this point is press that lil' power button thing on your PSX or PS2 as the case may be. Take the FFVIII discs to your local game store..Walk up to the clerk that sold the game to you and slap them with the CD's till they break.

Next go to the shelf buy a new or pre-played copy of FFIX and then return home insert game power up yer PSX or power up then insert game on your PS2.

Now you'll be playing a REAL FF game.

HEY! FF I-VII were the best ones and I've beat them all! Because I'm a Final Fantasy Junky I wanted to play all the FFs but almost all my friends told me VIII sux. I'm beginning to believe them. Squall and Seifer are cute and all but it is so hard to figure out. I think I will do what you say. Thanks!

Oh yeah..FF I-VII rocked. VIII was horrible...IX was a good recovery. X was a waste of time but I hear X-2 is good. and XI is possibly one of the worst MMORPG's I ever played, But it's the greatest game I've seen other people play.

LOL. I don't got a PS2 So X and up I haven't played. I don't remember what IX was on. I'll have to go look. XI looks like crap to me and I don't even wanna get started on Crystal Chronicals....

IX is the last FF game on PSX...Aside from Anthology and such.

people tend to have really strong opinions of those games. I know a number of people who were big fans of FFVIII, and weren't too fond of FFIX.

it seems only a few people liked VIII, me though, i liked it, even though it didn't stick to the fantasy-ish ff themes, i thought it was good, the cinematics kinda impressed me (not as much as the X graphics did though, looks almost real)
the storyline was decent. battles could be slow if you leveled up too much for some enemies (this was interesting, the less the leveling you did through the first 2 disks or so, easier the game was) made it more challenging if you were leveling and exploring.

but az is right, ffVII did rawk as well, as did IX.

Anyway, getting back to the query, when you say you're stuck as Laguna the second time, is this where they'er all stuck in the mine as soliders, or when they've come back to the town? (Or, ya know, if you need to, you can probably go look up a walkthrough for that bit.)

Az gets thumped for suggesting that VIII was less than okay. While the storytelling may have not been the tightest it could and the Junction system was unique but not very likeable, the game itself was cool.

Dood..I played this game for like 1-2 hours and almost vomitted..I consider that less than ok.
