What is your favorite game glitch/cheat?

We all know the classic cheats and game glitches...I am just curious, what are some of your most memorable and why?

Of course being the thread maked I shall start us all off

Glitches

In perhaps the greatest sprots game ever, Atari Football, there lives the greatest glitch ever. If you were defense and tried to tackle the runner with the ball and missed, I discovered all you had to do was run past the runner, through the screen and you would instantly pop out on the other side gaining you another chance to tackle...it's awesome!

Blood Code for Mortal Combat on Genesis.

Yeah the code you mentioned was like for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 but you forgot to go into the sound test mode and unlock Debug so you can go Super-sonic when ya get 50 rings.

Good ole Metroid. Too bad it started you with the Wave gun so ya hadta go get the freeze ray.

Damn...Can't think of many more off the top of my head. But there was an Acid code for Super Mario Bros. Basically it glitched the hell outta the game and everything was wierd.

Talkin about the minus world?

You get on top of the pipe at the end of the second level, and do a duck jump in a specific spot a certain way. You go sliding through the wall and end up in the warp room. Enter any pipe and you end up in world -1. It's an underwater level that keeps repeating till the time runs out. You're still stuck when you lose a life, so you gotta restart.

I dunno...I know the Goombas were like moving squares almost and the numbers at the top of the screen were all blurry or at least ya couldn't tell what they were and Mario had a square bump on his face. It looks like the game if the files were corrupted or something.

Memorable glitches...!

SIX FEET UNDER AND STILL ALIVE
Someone joined during an online game of PSO and I inexplicably found myself stuck UNDER the floor, unable to move... It was quite hilarious to see me talking while buried like that.

ENDLESS FIREWORKS
Still in PSO, we beat the robot boss, Vol Opt, but at the same time, someone gets disconnected. This somehow caused a slight lag in the game, and the boss proceeded to... explode... and explode... and explode... We looked at the explosions for 10 minutes before finally quitting the game.

WINDOWS CREATES AN OXYMORON
Not a game but anyways... One time, while I was low on system resources, I tried to play a movie in Media Player. I was given the following message: Windwos Media Player Error: The operation completed successfully.

HE SAID WHAT?
Not a glitch, but funny as well. In the Japanese version of Hotshots Golf 3 (Minna Golf 3) select the rocker dude with the shades and score a birdie. Listen carefully, his shoutout sounds almost like "Fuck you!"

I NEVER DIE!
That was a well-known glitch in Wonder Boy III for Sega Master. Equipping the Hades Armor gave you unlimited lives. It was pretty nice against the uber-hard Daymio Dragon.

POP-POP-POP!
This happened in a game of Castrol Racing, online. My lag was so odd that instead of going slower, I was going blazingly fast, often warping at points past where I was supposed to be. I beat my opponent in the most impossible manner, scoring a time not even theoretically possible.

PRICELESS JUNK
One of my favorite glitches. In Speed Busters American Highways, I once totaled my car so bad that I couldn't even race with it anymore. I tried to race anyways, got retired, and the car came back with a rating of zero to its frame and tires. I couldn't press the button to repair it!... So, I tried to sell it. I was offered enough money to buy three top-of-the-line cars and upgrade them fully. :O

Small man firepower!! Super Mario Bros. 1
This is a glitch I didn't know existed til about 1 year ago. My buddy Joe showed it to me. When you fight bowser in any of the castles. Here's what you do.
First of all, you have to be Big Mario. Nest, you have to get between Bowser and the axe. Then, as he is almost on you, you have to jump and land on the axe AND Bowser at the same time. You're guy will shrink, but the game will still register you as being Big. In the next level, if you get hit, you will grow and look like Big Mario, but you're really small mario, and you'll die in the next hit. If you get a fire flower, you'll stay small, and have fireballs!
