Going to see it tonight with some free passes.

Is it any good... I have heard bad things.

a coworker said it was pretty good. A friend refuses to see it cuz he hates when they take a bad guy and make him a good guy.

I saw the movie and personally it kicked. Two thumbs up from me.

Saw it. And I gotta say it was far more entertaining than I gave it credit for. Now only to get rid of Vin's poor acting.

Go see it Shino! Especially if it's free. But if your free passes are available for anything then go see Around the World in 80 Days. Wink

Yea i'm really not a fan of Vin Diesal. The guy was quoted saying that he wants to make his own game system.

Personal opinion: With the sheer number of instances of stepping out of character simply to get the cool line, not to mention the bad plot twists, I could have made a better movie.

However, that is simply my opinion.

Well I have to admit... the plot really sucked.

But I went in thinking there would be no plot, thanks to the warning given to me by AzVegeta. So I liked the movie for the action and the affects on the Grand Master Dohicky guy.

I have to say there was one action scene that really annoyed me... there is a big fight scene where they cut out all sound and just play music over it. That is really annoying. I was like... "Dood, this music isn't good enough to put that much attention on it. Give me the sound back."

I have to say I thought some of the fight scenes with the combo moves with Riddick and "Jack" where pretty good.

Dood..This movie was Conan The Barbarian for 2004 so it roxored.

And Doot is a jerk...Vins acting was perfect for his role. ALL Riddick is is an escaped con who's pissed at the world and doesn't give two shits about anyone cept that one girl... He fought forhimself and fought for revenge and continues to fight because he wants to.

He HAS no emotions. He HAS no fear of death. He's a machine built for destruction. You CAN'T expect him to be laughing or showing emotion when Riddick lacks the abilities of both.

The ONLY thing in the movie that pissed me off was that EVERY damn time he took off his goggles he did the overhead grab thing instead of just like moving them up on his forhead for the 3 seconds he takes them off for.

I gotta agree with Az, I found it real good for a sci-fi action movie. Even tho it looked much like a cross between Conan and Dune, it remained very entertaining.

No way... Cup of Tea was nothing. When he pulled out a paper clip it was beautiful...I think it was a paper clip..I dunno..I was laughing too hard at the cup of tea.
