Harvest Moon

Ok, I just started playing Harvest Moon: It's a Wonderful Life for GC and I think I'm addicted. I just can't figure out how to get the girl I want to marry me. Any body got any hints?

Or has anybody else played any of the other games in the series and have any good suggestions of other Harvet Moon games I should play?

I played the original on GB. It was very addicting, but I havn't played any since then Sad

One hint: make your crops in a U shape so you can stand in teh middle and water them all at once)

Point #2. You have to get your crops up and running and be able to finish all the crops b4 noon. This lets you go to town and do other things. If it's anything like the GB version, time doesn't pass in buildings. This means a green house is a good thing.

To get chicks...presents. Find out what they like and bring it too them every day. There is probably an FAQ on gamefaqs.com to help. Harvest Moon's have always been very indepth so completion of the game is almost impossible.

I've personally been a fan of the snes version, both gb, and the gamecube version. Beat them all. I beat the Playstation 2 one as well, but that game was a piece of crap. I think you could only grow like 3 plants no matter what.

As for trying to get the girl to marry you, yea, go to gamefaqs, that's the easiest way to figure out how to do it. I personally chose the girl from the farm across the stream, and she liked flowers, so it was easy to have a present for her everyday.

Harvest Moon was a long addiction of mine...but yes...I believe all the girls like one flower or another except for Ann.
Which are you trying to get to marry you? I could give you a list if you're still trying to figure it out ^.^

the 64 one is what hooked me onto harvest moon. Just talk to the girl you like alot and try to figure out what she likes and give it to her.

i got hooked on the 64 version too. i own the GC version but it really lost it's touch.... it really isn't as fun... and i was really hoping to be a girl for once... *sigh* oh well the way the crops are grown is just annoying no more squares of 3 by 3 now just on seed and one square. it really annoys me... and the look of the town has changed so much it doesn't look like harvest moon! the milking system is kinda coo but it sucks that the cows can't be milked after a while and they have to have given birth before they produce milk. besides that selling flowers is really coo! i always wished to do that in the 64 version.

I got hooked on the 64 version, and okami is right the GC version ain't the same game... simple as that, GBA version also is a little more tedious than the others. I still think that it is amazing that a game about something so simple can be so addictive!
