So dylan and I were watching a show called conquest on the History channel and they were discussing medieval jousting tournaments and whatnot.
They begin to discuss the weight of a helmet... twenty pounds and it occurs to me that these noblemen and riding around on these horses with the equivalant of my son on their heads!
Now all I can think of is a burly guy in armor with my son as a helmet trompling all over the place, lifting the poor boy's legs as you would a visor when necessary!!!!!
GAHHHHH! No more bookeeping for me! :Oo: |

And many helms had feathers or some type of plumage attached to the top. Where would that be?
