Hey folks-
Without letting too much slip us over at Panda Rage are going to be whipping up an audio drama project. Think of those old radio serials lie for The Lone Ranger and The Green Hornet and the Shadow, and you'll get close to what we're planning. We're going to try a short run first and see where it leads after that.
Thought I'd post here to see if anyone's done anything similar and has any advice to offer.
Oh yes, and I'm going to need voice actors, so watch this space for "casting calls" or whatnot. Let me know if you're intrigued! |

Done a few "audio" things...but all for fun...and all are CRAPPED OUT AS HELL.
However, if you ever need some horrid voice, Big Panda- I can do many horrid voices...x_x; mostly the "movie announcer". I don't do an exact impersonation...but close enough for comfort..^^ |

Well we're going to try and do something with our Onward Bound series so there'll be all manner of fantastic stuff going on. It could involve elves, dwarves, gnomes...all with distinct speech patterns and accents. Not to mention I'm building a verbal world for the series...slang and colloquialisms and the like.
Music's going to play a part as I actually have a band who's looking to do something for us by way of a theme song. It should be special.
So far we are definitely going to need at least one female lead. And one more if there's a decent singing voice to be had.
Bumbles, I'll keep you posted. I've actually heard your voice and it'd be perfect for one character who might make it into the script.
For the first outing, the cast will be small....I JUST got the audio mixing software and I know very little about this stuff...just enough to know i want to do it. That and I know people who DO know this stuff.
It's for fun that might lead somewhere. |

I think I could do a Dwarf though..I'm all deep and can fake a scottish accent like they do.

While I feel my own voice is peronable and warm, its not mic friendly and too much of the south in my toung comes out over the mic. >_< |
