Top 3 Most powerful/moving Anime scenes

Since we seem to be on this top 3 kick here ya go....

Tell us you're top three most moving/powerful/tear-jerking scenes in your anime history.

Now of course these can be happy scenes or not so happy ones...but in typical fashion, the thread started will name their's first...so here they are

God I have three but how in god's name do I sort these??

Ok lemme just say these are not in any order so hear they are

Tenchi Muyo - Ryoko getting slapped by Tenchi...uh do I even need to go on??

Sailor Moon - R Movie (please correct me if this is the wrong series) All the scouts are on the bg moon rock thingie and they all get behind Serena when she is using the Magic Crystal on her chest and they have that awesome scene and the "Power Of Love" song begins...oh yeah....just amazing

Love Hina - Christmas Special - In the end of the special, Keitaro is outside and supposed to find Naru and the movie ends in that fabulous scene where Naru breaks down crying out I love You over and over...yeah see I am a silly little dreamer and that made me jump out of my chair and smoth Kiyomi with hugs and kisses and sweet things and you get it....

Sailor Moon R is the right one.

Sailor Moon S is the Ice Queen battle where Usagi goes Neo-Queen Serenity.

Sailor Moon Super S is where Luna falls in love with a human then gets her wish to be human for like 10 seconds to kiss him then she goes back to Artemis... I can't remember what they fight though. But it has something to do with the astronomer guy getting sick from some kind of crystal.

PS> I'll edit my post later when I think of some scenes...One of them will probably be when Guts' woman gets raped in front of him by his best friend.

hrm this is a difficult one..... I could prolly fill five or six spots just from Evangelion alone, but I wont.

3. .hack//Sign -- At the end when the RL people behind tsukasa(SP) and Subaru are passing each other on the sidewalk and the reallize who each other are. Then proceed to turn and hug each other.

2. Angelic Layer (SPOILER) -- At the end of the series in the final credits you see a shot of Misaki and Shuko (the main character and her mother) walking down the steet together. Shuko was in a wheel chair the entire series and in the credits she is walking using the experimental prosthetics based on the research that brought about the creation of Angelic Layer. Its a very heart warming seen.

1 1/2. End of Evangelion -- When Asuka gets killed in her Eva after going crazy and finally realizing what the Eva was and that she was never really alone. Very sad experience for me, she is pretty much my favorite character in all of Anime.

1. Evangelion -- In the middle of episode..... 25 or 26 there is a scene where it shows what the "children" could have been like. Asuka and Shinji were best friends and Rei was the new girl. Misato was the teacher (why couldn't i have had any teachers like her in school) everyone was happy and there was no impending doom about to fall upon the entire planet.

*thinks* Holy..*thinks* Voices of a Distant Star. The entire thing. Period. It's one of few fictional works that's put me in tears.

Fruits Basket-- (OMG SEVERE SPOILERS) When Shigure's begging Tohru to go to Kyo even though she's terrified. Just...the way it's so not like Shigure. The seriousness in his voice....everything. It breaks my heart.

I'll think of others at some point. I'm sorta a ditz.

Moving Scenes I have seen so far... a top three... hmm...

Let's start with...

3) Someday's Dreamers - Final Examination for Yume - A girl who's drifting in uncertainty finds her love again and helps a man obsessed with the past move on.

Two) Haibane Renmei - Rakka, Reki, and the Spotted room - What makes a good Haibane? Are there alternatives to the Day of Flight? What happens when someone gives in to self-inflicted pressure?

ONE) The Vision of Escaflowne - The whole series in and of itself is wonderful and full of those moments, and so takes the one spot. That said I think the brothers reunited in the chamber of Dornkirk segment (the one right at the end, with fate and all that) and Allen's Wedding are two excellent segments from that animation.

That being said, both the Love Hina and the Evangelion ones are good.

3. Chobits- In the last episode where Chii disappears and the landlady erases her memory. Just that one moment where you go: "She erased her memory...." Total Oh-My-God moment.

2. Escaflowne- Silver get's bonus points because he is right, the entire series is full of awesome powerful moments. But the end, the very end.... still gives me goosebumps to this day to think about it. Wow.

1. Grave of Fireflies- I know of only one person who has seen the ending of this movie and did not cry. Everyone cries. You can't not. You have to be almost heartless not to feel moved by that movie.

Well, I think that instead of trying to narrow it to the top 3 moments, I'll just list three series and moments in them

-Cowboy Bebop: I'll be the first to mention it. Episode 5, Ballad of Fallen Angels, and both parts of The Real Folk Blues. If you don't know what I am talking about then I cannot spoil it, because it's just that damn good.

-Trigun: (I love this series, I really do) Episode 5, Hard Puncher, where Vash finally proves why he's got a $$60 Billion bounty no ones collected. Episode 12, Diablo, to see Vash when he's mad. Episode 23 and onward. It does not get more powerful than this

-Transformers: Don't laugh, Bumblebee would back me up on this. I'm talking Optimus Prime in his last stand against Megatron, Dinobot from Beast Wars paying the greatest price to save proto-humanity, BW Megs unleashing centuries of righteous fury upon Optimus Prime for resigning Decepticons and their descendants to servitude. These were moments done well, that proved this was not a kids toy commercial

3. Sailor Moon: Classic-The whole Usagi vs. Brainwashed Mamoru vs. Queen Beryl sequnce.

2.Chobits-The entire last episode.

1.Kanon-Pretty much everything past the 4th episode. Man that series was so sad! It made me cry.

*GRAND PRIZE* Violinist of Hameln-...just about everything in the entire sereis. Except for those three jokes and Trom's peeping scence.

Hmm, I really wouldn't be able to pick three, but I know if I did I'd definitely have the Rurouni Kenshin OAVS ranked pretty high if not as my number one. I don't think further explanation is necessary.

And guys, could you please put like (SPOILER) before the... spoilers? Like, I haven't seen the end of Chobits or Evangelion... so.. uh...yeah.

Trigun and CB rank at absolute top as some of the best anime, not to mention the best stuff I've ever seen. However, the award for most powerful scene goes, barely, to the final episode of Samurai X, alias the Kenshin OVAs. Those of you who have seen it know what I'm talking about.
