Super Magic PS2 Memory Card, Go!

Yeah, that didn't work. Along with a myriad of other lines I tried. In less than two montehs my GC and PS2 memory cards have simotaniously gone caput, concluding with my PS2 one just now. I was a couple of hours from beating Wind Waker and Disgaea, and I lost every bit of work I've put into an RPG(FFX, FFX-2, KH just to name a few), Armored Core 2, AC:PP, AC3, AC:SL; and other games too...

My AC saves are back up on Faye's memory card mostly, but everything else I've done is just gone, and I'm damn sure not going to pick up Disgaea again after having droped so much time into it to do it all over again. Hell I drove all the way to Frisco (an hour trip both ways) just for the game. Sixty hours in, and now sixty hours out. Man that stings hard.

Brosia Boo alone had more than three characters built up to the max on gauntlet. That takes a little time. We were also both in the middle of rented games. Agh, lost my Gran Turismo saves too, man I dunno how much time I spent there but it was a lot.

Officallly liscenced PS2 memory card too.

I have two thrid party and an official Sony memory card that are all almost full and I will be buying another in the near future to handle all the saves from the massive amount of games that I will be buying in the next six months.

I do have a couple of ps1 memory cards that are going. you kinda have to fiddle with them in the slot for the ps or ps2 to see it. And now my original ps2 mem card is doing that a little.

I think what I need to do is maybe buy some sort of converter to put the data on disk or something. I think they have some thing like that.

either that or replace all my memory cards... 8 ps1 cards, 3 ps2 cards

This was the only one I'd ever needed. Had it since I got my PS2. Its bears noting Grallick was the last person to use the memory card >_>

Buy first party stuff. My controllers and memory cards for my DC are all Sega, and they are still very faithful to me.

My memory card has messed with me on some occasions, but it's remained loyal throughout my three years of owning it. Once, i tried to check it, it showed I had no data, WHATSOEVER! It was completely in, too. So I took it out, gave it a little shake and put it back in. tone, my data my magically reappeared. Also, it's deleted some files randomly, but these were like 6 month old files to games I didnt even own anymore. Anyways, my advice is don't stress it. Sometimes, you have more fun replaying the games trying to catch up to where you left off.
