Do you ever... have those times where you are so completely lost? Like you're not really sure what's right and wrong anymore. You just are so... confused? It's like riding a roller coaster. And all the while you know you should be happy but you're crying and you don't know why. And you so in love it scares you and you just wanna... I donno ....somehow just be not so confused. Not so emotionally insecure? |

Neither did I. The feeling of being lost will go away. It takes some time but it does. Trust me. It can nearly drive a person insane but you just gotta deal with it. |

You want to be careful there, Kai. I call that feeling Desperation Love, and it's a very volitile emotion and very unreliable at times. In my experience it's that feeling of intense pain/need that can cause an unhealthy dependency, be it with drugs or people. As much as being in love means that you care deeply for someone and that you depend on them and desire to be with them it's always been my experience that it should never be a make-or-break factor in your life. The point is that you need to be self-reliant and self-assured and if you need to lean on something just in order to function then that's an addiction and unhealthy by definition.
My only advice to you is this: You're a good person, Kai. You've been through a lot, you are very in tune with yourself. Listen to your heart, but be strong. Be firm in who you are not only when you're with this person, but who you are when you're alone. That's important. Know yourself. Be strong.
