this is about 3-5 years old but it confused the crap outta me...but yet it was a good movie...
anyone seen it? its got like i think brad pitt and some other dude...but it was awesome... |

That's not such a hard movie to understand. Where there are two, think of only one, and in the end, all will be made clear. For the two are one, just one does and the other observes. |

If you haven't seen the whole movie, then you are missing key parts of the puzzle. Especially the end of the movie where most of it is made clear. |

He has a very split personality. So much that he actually projects himself outside of himself, observing himself do some pretty whacked out stuff. Only near the end does he put the pieces together and pull himself back into one piece. |

I thought it was an awesome movie, and I need to remember to pick it up on DVD when I can. ^_^;
It's neat because in the beginning they slip in extra frames before he(brad) shows up. I wish i had more people to see it with, though. o_o; |

You guys! This is like, one of my most favorite movies ever! It's so great, and both Brad Pitt and Ed Norton are fantastic actors. One of the reason's its so cool is because you can actually discuss it on many different levels. The main message, at least as I see it, in the movie is that we are not truly free until we give up everything. But whatever...its a great movie no matter what you think it may mean.
And by the way, Ed Norton's character doesn't have schizophrenia. A common misconception is that schizophrenia means multiple personalities. He has multiple personality disorder (it has a specific name, I just don't remember it right now...) Schizophrenia is different, it's like seeing things that aren't there, etc. |
