Another reality show.. 16 promising professional middleweight boxers fight to be a champion boxer and win $1 Million..
Altho' I also like 'Survivor' & 'Amazing Race', I found 'The Contender' is more interesting, got me excited and adrenalin rush when they fight.. I like to see when the underdogs defeated the favourites.. |

Yeah I was kinda looking forward to this, always been a casual fan of boxing. And I love rocky I-III, IV was alright.
But since the show caused one guy to commit suicide I am not sure how interested I am anymore. |

Someone killed themselves over the Show?! Now I need to watch it..That'd be awesome.
And Rocky IV was the best of all the Rocky's. It taught us that warring countries can get along when they have common ground. |

OMG.. Najai commit suiside???? I thought he was killed by gangsta bcos he was carjacked at gunpoint and robbed of several hundred dollars in cash before he was accepted to be 1 of the contestant. |

It was stated the suicide was due to problems with himself that had been going on for a long time. He even stated in a note that the show had nothing to do with it. Wether it's true or not is up to speculation but the record has been set on that issue. Plus I think it's a good commemoration to the guy that they still run the shows with him anyway. |
