I got mine preordered...what about you?
Actually I'm as interested in the wireless adaptor as much as the game. The games have never been challenging, just fun, but the adaptor is a great item. I'm also probably gonna get majesco's wireless link since it's a complete link up that works with all GB games.

I don't know. To me, Pokemon lost it's allure after the original Red and Blue, after too many little kids picked up on it and turned it into a fad, effectively ruining it.

I feel the same as Ming. I mean, I played it when I was originally in middle school in 7th or 8th grade. Back then it was something big in japan that was an otaku thing over here. No one knew what pokemon was and it was an otaku thing. Since it got all commercialized over here, I never have been very into it. I played Ruby an everything, and your right, they are fun games, but they have sort of lost their alluer to me.

And are Red/Green just remakes of the original Pokemon like Yellow was?

and by remake, we mean NOT a port. Its supposed to be literally a REMAKE of the game.

It's the Fad that kinda made it fun. I remember beating all sorts of little kids who thought they're pokemon were the strongest.

My point, if it wasn't as big as it was, then it would be hard to find good players to fight. For example, Armored Core is a great game that is hard to master but it is really hard to find people to play in my area making it less fun.

Now, in my neck of the woods it seems like I'm one of the few people that reserved Fire Red. Looks like I've got some trading to do.

Say what you want but it's in one of my hot sweaty hands (yes, I'm typing this with one hand). If I can find a GS/PAR/CB code to start with Eevee or Flareon then I'm all set. If not, then I'll jump in and kick ass without them. WOOT!

Theres actually supposed to be a lot more to the game than red/blue of old. There is another campaign after the original islands. Supposed to be quite a few whole new islands.
